How the Solar Design Wall Lamp works with Dutch weather
The burning time of a solar lamp depends on the amount of (sun)light. The more light, the more fully the battery is charged. In the winter there is less light and the battery is charged less, or sometimes not at all. It also gets darker earlier, which means the lamp comes on sooner. A solar lamp therefore burns longer in the summer and shorter in the winter. This is why we recommend that you put the lamp in the 3rd position in the winter - then it only lights up when movement is detected and the battery lasts a lot longer.
