The amount of light from a lamp is expressed in lumens. The higher the number of lumens, the more light. One lumen is equal to the light output of one candle. A handy rule of thumb is that in general you need about 10-20 lumens of light per square meter. A bathroom, kitchen or study, on the other hand, needs more light. For this, 70-80 lumens per square meter is recommended. These powerful LED lamps have a light output of 1055 lumens and are therefore also suitable for use in rooms with a high ceiling.
